“Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful things humans can do for each other. — Randy Pausch

Aquarius season baby! I know I know, it’s been over a week since I turned 31, but I wanted to share my gratitude as I finish reflecting.

Gratitude For the People in My Life

I am so grateful for you all. For my family, fiancé, friends, and this life.
Thank you so much for your kind and motivating messages. The joy that I share is the joy that I receive from the people around me. My energy and motivation comes from you. Thank you so much for believing in me and for celebrating with me through all of my successes this past year. Thank you for encouraging and motivating me through my struggles especially during these uncertain times. I am so blessed to have your love and support.

Looking Back: Acknowledging and Celebrating the Wins

I want to acknowledge that 2020 wasn’t easy, yet it helped me become more resilient. I am extremely lucky that I was able to continue pushing for my aspirations while doing the little things that I love to do. While looking back at my wins this past year, I began to think, what would my youngest self say when I told her that in 2020 I:

My mission is to inspire others to be kind, healthy, happy, and to make a positive impact in this world. This is my north star and I hope that I am putting out what I am intending to do.

Again, thank you all for celebrating with me. Many of the long hours and work behind these accomplishments can feel lonely and tiring so I thank you for being at the finish line cheering me on. 2020 really made me miss and appreciate you all so much.

2021 Is The Year To Express More Gratitude

2021 will be the year of expressing more love and gratitude towards the people around me. Do I sometimes hold back from expressing gratitude? Very much so and I want to change that because I have so much to be grateful for. My goal is to leave a trail of gratitude wherever life takes me.

It will be another year of growth mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. This year I also want to be less anxious about time. Replacing the feeling I get that there is not enough time and replacing it with patience.

Most importantly, I want to help and lift others up as I continue to lift myself up.

We can accomplish anything we want in this lifetime as long as we stay true to ourselves. As long as we stay kind, humble, and work for what we believe in.
